Be Be Bold specializes in Japanese textiles and is situated near Byron Bay in the Northern rivers region of New South Wales, Australia.

Owner Jane MacDonald has over 23 years experience in patchwork and quilting. She started making quilts in 1986 and has been teaching for over ten years.
Jane’s particular interest is in Japanese textiles and craft. With a focus on traditional Japanese fabrics such as silks and cottons, she also supplies books and items for crafts.
Early in 2008, Jane went to Japan to participate in a textiles tour including the renowned Tokyo International Great Quilt Festival. This trip further developed her extensive range and knowledge of Japanese fabrics and crafts.
Teaching:
Classes are held in the studio. A class timetable for 2010 is now available and will be sent by email or post if interested
Jane is also happy to travel to groups or shops to teach.
Japanese craft and patchwork group:
This is a craft group for like minded people who have an interest in Japanese textiles and craft. We meet every first and third Thursday of the month, mornings and evenings. Out of town visitors are welcome to join us.
